Our Purpose

The purpose of our tours is to connect the international community with the Venezuelan people and their revolution. The tours are about witnessing, learning, building solidarity and friendship. The Venezuelan revolution has come to the present through elections and democratic means. Although a coup d'etat, violence, sabotage and a variety of other subversive tactics have been used by the mainly wealthy opposition forces backed by the US; the overwhelming majority of Venezuelans have been able to protect, nourish and advance their revolution.

Travellers in Venezuela will easily realize that accommodations, meals in restaurants and most other expenditures go to businesses profiting from workers’ low wages with little or no benefit to the community at large. Venezuela Bolivariana Tours are dedicated to paying a decent wage to Venezuelans involved in the revolutionary process for the services they provide the tours. Our tours are community oriented.

All profits from these tours will go toward building an International Solidarity and Friendship Centre within Venezuela. The plan (in the near future) is to house, feed, guide on tours, entertain and educate visitors to the centre as well as sustain a Venezuelan community within and around it. Click for more details.
